Al Dixon
Al Dixon is a former NFL tight end who played for the New York Giants, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, and San Francisco 49ers. He is an experienced speaker, program administrator, coordinator, and has a background in outreach and psychology. Family, academic achievement, and success in sports have been driving forces throughout Al’s life. Influencing his dedication to hard work and his determination. Growing up in East St. Louis, Illinois, Al witnessed firsthand the destructive effects of drugs, alcohol, and a lack of discipline on young people without guidance and support.
Al credits his parents, along with the love and respect he learned for others, for inspiring his drive to succeed. He became his high school's Scholar-Athlete of the Year and earned a scholarship to Iowa State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development and Psychology.
At Iowa State, Al distinguished himself as one of only eight “Big Eight” players to letter in three sports: football, basketball, and baseball. His achievements reflect his dedication, discipline, and the strong values instilled in him from a young age.
Al Dixon created ALD Life Games to serve youth and families in the Metro Phoenix Area and Throughout Arizona.
